AC Hotel opens at Pinecrest

Greater Cleveland’s newest hotel comes with a complimentary glass of cava and a view of Shake Shack.

The region’s first AC Hotel opened this week at Pinecrest, the new mixed-use development in Orange Village. The 145-room hotel is located on four floors of new construction, above high-end clothier Vineyard Vines and other ground-floor retail.

It’s the first AC for Northeast Ohio, part of the Marriott chain, with a contemporary, European flair.

The brand was founded in 1998 in Spain by Antonio Catalan (“AC”), who partnered with Marriott in 2011. Since then, the hotel chain has expanded quickly in the United States, with 54 hotels in 24 states. In Ohio, there are two in the Cincinnati area, and one outside of Columbus, in Dublin.

Marriott Intl.’s AC Hotels brand is set to make its debut in the Cleveland market in August. The five-story, newbuild project is slated for Beachwood's newest mixed-use district, the Pinecrest Development. Columbus, Ohio-based firm Meyers + Associates Architecture is spearheading the 145-key hotel’s design.

Spa at the Del Monte Expands; Adds more Employees

Pittsford, NY – December 1, 2017 –The Spa at the Del Monte has expanded, adding four additional treatment rooms. The 1,425 square foot expansion offers greater appointment availability to their clients and enhances the overall exceptional experience the spa provides. With this expansion, the Spa has added five additional massage therapists to their staff.

The Spa will now have a total of fourteen treatment rooms for massages, facial and body treatments, and other esthetic services. Included with the expansion, the Spa added a second duet massage room, additional seating in the women’s sanctuary and fresh décor in both men’s and women’s sanctuaries, where guests can relax before and after their treatments.

“The addition to the spa will allow us to meet the continued increase in demand for our spa services,” said Jessica Realbuto, Spa Director. “We are very excited to be adding more talented associates to the team.”
