ROCHESTER, NY - June 10, 2020 – For over 45 years, The DelMonte Hotel Group has supported the Rochester, NY community in which they do business, through a variety of philanthropic endeavors. Now more than ever, during the unprecedented global coronavirus pandemic, it became apparent to play an active role in keeping the Rochester, NY community fed. DHG and their three restaurants were able to partner with local affiliations in order to provide meals to Rochester families and frontline healthcare workers.
Erie Grill, located in The Renaissance Del Monte Lodge & Spa, partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester by providing weekly family meals, ensuring the availability of nutritious food.
Grappa, located in Hilton Garden Inn Rochester/University & Medical Center, partnered with the University of Rochester Medical Center by donating meals three times a week to the frontline healthcare workers at Strong Memorial Hospital URMC. Thank you to all healthcare heroes!
Images Restaurant & Bar, located in Rochester Airport Marriott, partnered with Encompass: Resources for Learning & Education Success Foundation, by providing meals to their Encompass Navigation program. The meals are provided to Rochester families that do not have transportation or access to free meal sites, and were at-risk without meals provided by their schools and afterschool programs.
It’s an honor and a privilege to work with these amazing community partners to be able to give back to the community with food (or through meal donations) for those in need during this time.
